McPherson College C.A.R.S. Club Motoring Festival
McPherson College is the only college to offer a bachelor’s degree in Restoration Technology and, for the 19th year, the C.A.R.S. Club on campus put on a car & motorcycle show. The show features the students' rides and projects, restored vehicles, significant cars in history, motorcycles, tractors, trucks, and modern cars. Some of the stand out cars at this impressive show were a steam-powered 1916 Stanley 726, a 1930 Cadillac V16 Roadster, a 1929 Ford Model A Tudor built by Rad Rides by Troy, and a genuine AC Cobra with chassis number CSX2409 "known as the lowest mileage Cobra in existence".
With a car show attracting this caliber of car, you'd probably set your expectations high for the trophies as well. Rest assured that the handmade trophies were also a sight to behold. The trophy categories included:
